Web Designer at Groove Media

About the Role: Groove Media is on the lookout for a creative and technically skilled Web Designer to join our dynamic team. As a Web Designer, you will be responsible for creating aesthetically pleasing and functional websites that align with our brand and meet our business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and build user-friendly, visually appealing websites.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure consistency in design and brand message across digital platforms.
  • Create website layout/user interfaces by using standard HTML/CSS practices.
  • Integrate data from various back-end services and databases.
  • Work with web developers to apply style and user interface design to web applications.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, applying them into operations and activities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, or a related field.
  • Proven work experience as a Web Designer.
  • Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio.
  • Proficiency in front-end development web programming languages such as HTML and CSS, JQuery, and JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with Adobe suite of products including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat, and Dreamweaver.
  • Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction.
  • Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively.
